The TFA Is Recruiting New Rural Surveyors

The TFA is looking to expand its complement of rural surveyors and is seeking applications from surveyors at all career stages to fulfil a number of posts. We would be interested in hearing from the following:

Mid-career rural surveyors looking for a new challenge.
Early career surveyors who have completed APC and or their CAAV qualifications and are looking for a new, impactful role.
Graduates looking towards completing their APC or CAAV qualifications.

We are seeking candidates who are enthusiastic, professional, highly organised and motivated for these important roles which involve day-to-day interaction with members of the Association who are seeking advice information and support. Except for graduates, candidates should have previous experience in advisory or advocacy roles within the farming community. Successful candidates will be expected to advise members on a wide range of issues including all agricultural tenancy matters, the application of agricultural policy, planning, rural development and also have an input into the TFA’s policy development work. Successful candidates should expect to travel extensively throughout England and Wales.

The application deadline has been extended to Monday 13 November. If you are interested in applying, or know someone else who might be interested, please click here for a full description of the roles and application process.
