Helping Safeguard the Future of Tenant Farming in Wales with Farming Connect Print This Post

TFA Cymru is working with Farming Connect to deliver a series of seminars across Wales in January 2019 about the intricacies of landlord/tenant legislation in Wales.  “Helping Safeguard the Future of Tenant Farming in Wales – Farming Connect Supports the Sector with Tenant Farmer Forums”

With tenancy agreements often containing restrictive clauses and tenancy legislation also raising some difficult issues. These events will allow tenant farmers to learn more about their tenancy agreements and, the statutory framework which governs them to assist in overcoming barriers to allowing farm businesses to grow and take full advantage of the opportunities which lie ahead.

Given the unique position of tenant farmers in having to navigate their way through their legal agreements with landlords when developing their businesses and responding to new Government policy. Farming Connect has teamed up with the Tenant Farmers Association and Agri Advisor Solicitors, to arrange three important forum meetings aimed specifically at the tenanted sector of agriculture.

By attending this event, tenant farmers will be given important tools to manage their relationships with their landlords and to make the most out of the opportunities their tenancies provide.

George Dunn, Chief Executive, Tenant Farmers Association of England and Wales
Manon Williams, Associate Solicitor, Agri Advisor Solicitors
Elaine Rees Jones, Agrisgôp Leader

Doors open for each forum at 19:00 and start at 19:30. There will be a question and answer session for attendees at the end of each meeting.
